Style.com‘s upcoming transition into an e-commerce site and a spinoff site for fashion week galleries and reviews called Voguerunway.com isn’t the only major change happening under the Vogue umbrella. Both Brown and a rep for the magazine declined to comment for this story. The editor, who worked at Elle prior to landing at Vogue, told Page Six that in addition to taking on new writing projects, she will be “starting an advisory focused on beauty, fashion, lifestyle and beyond” — a move that’s certainly not without precedent, given well-established, well-connected editors’ history of taking on consulting gigs after leaving a full-time job.
